My Story

From a young age I have always had a love for animals and helped with looking after family pets. My first pet was a Hamster, I then went on to have Rabbits and 21 years ago had my first Dog, Toby a Labrador, from then on I've always had Dogs in my home and continued to help friends and family with their pets. More recently I adopted a Labrador called Harry from the Labrador Rescue Trust.  He was an extremely frightened 9 month old puppy, who hadn't had the best start in life. I built his confidence and helped him learn trust. Four years on and he is happy, confident and loving. The journey has been very rewarding and from this Debbies Joyful Paws was born. All that I have learnt and all my experience, I bring with me on the Joyful Paws Journey.

I am also a Volunteer for the Labrador Rescue Trust, South West.
